Egypt is an agriculture country, its main crop is cotton, maize, rice, wheat, soybean and sugar. EU is the major market of its agriculture products. 

1. The pesticide products in Egyptian market is focused on insecticides and fungicides, including sulfur, mancozeb, chlorpyrifos, malathion, glyphosate, diomethoate, methomyl and metalaxyl. 
2. The source of pesticides is mainly from India, China, Japan and German, which occupied 76.5%. 
3. The imported pesticide quantity from China reached 1294.66 MT in 2013. 
4. The registration time will be shortened recently. Until 2014-9-2, Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture approved 895 registration projects totally. Among them, 194 registration source are from China.
